We're still blown away by the immense support we've received for Awful Fantasy: The Card Game. We've exceeded all our simple, measly stretch goal plans and now we are just preparing to get this game's art finished and manufactured/shipped as quickly as we can! We may even have one or two surprises in the coming weeks. As the process goes along, we will be sure to update you along the way. We swear.
We are approaching our final 48 hours, and we expect to get at LEAST 1 more pledge. Maybe more. Hell, we may even hit our final stretch goal and be able to get rid of these expired hooters.
Tell your friends what they are missing out on and tempt them with candy or kisses or save time and do both with a refreshing sack of Hershey's Chocolate Kisses.

Conor has just finished art for our first actual Plot card! Check out the Alien Invasion plot!
They're so cute! And so dangerous! But really cute.
All hands on deck here at Awful Fantasy Headquarters. By the grace of Glo'rbiss, the Supreme Inter-dimensional Plutonian, we'll continue on in good health. Oh, speaking of that, we need tend the owl coop.

That's it, you've unlocked the final Author Card stretch goal! Glo'rbiss is happy, but as we all know by now, His Supreme Happiness doesn't last forever. We fear for our future...
Anyway, let's talk about the authors!
I'm sure these will appeal to your "specific" sensibilities. Who of these fine, original authors will you play as? Will it be the invariably terrified Robert E Cowered, the gospel-touting, Omnianistic Terry Preach-it, the macabre and familiar-looking avian Edgar Allan Crow, or the eight-fingered Thumbless Adams?

Amazing! We reached the next stretch goal so quickly! We certainly prayed to Glo'rbiss that this would be so, and it was thus. Hail Glo'rbiss, the supreme space lord.
What did we unlock? 4 more authors to play as!
When you finally get your copy of Awful Fantasy: The Card Game, and because we reached the AMAZING goal of $45k, you will be able to play as one of these brand-new, unlocked authors! Will you choose to play as the static-infused Stephen Cling? Or will you play as the anthropomorphic animal enthusiast Patrick Rothfurry? Do you have a spare comb for the twisted, matted hair of Maddening T'engle? Or will you bust out your sneakers and jog a couple laps as Ayn Runned? Any way you slice it, you're going to end up with a pretty Awful story with these absurd, unfamiliar, completely original authors.

You did it! Because of what you did, we are going to put Conor's art all over every card. I hope you're happy with yourself. Does this sound like I'm being sarcastic? I'm not. I swear I'm suuuuuper happy.
