We just wanted to give a small update to you since we haven't done so in a while. This is definitely a lull in new information while we wait for art to continue to come in. So, we figured we'd show you a few of the pieces we have gotten so far. We would show you all of them but we think it'll be more fun to be surprised at least a little bit when you finally get the game.
The Hellhound's leash was made from human tendons. Its spiked collar was made of human teeth. Its knitted sweater was made of human hair.
A Dargon suddenly flew out from behind the mountain. Hailyas noted it looked similar to a Dragon, but not nearly as cliché.

Things are still chugging along. Conor is cranking out the art, we've been getting a great response rate with BackerKit surveys, and in the meantime we're in discussions with a manufacturer to make sure we get the best quality product we can.
We've almost received all of the BackerKit surveys back, but we just have a few more to get. If you don't have the link to your survey for one reason or another, please follow this link to recover it: https://awful-fantasy-the-card-game.backerkit.com/
You are able to edit your survey info up until we lock them down just before we ship. We'll let you know before that happens, and give you as much info as we can (what shipping carrier we're using, when we plan to ship, etc) to make sure you get your game without a hitch.

Hello!
We have finally received our Kickstarter funds and everything is underway! Conor has begun the long and arduous task of completing illustrations so we wanted to show you some stuff he's done.
Firstly, here is a villain card for the most terrifying enemy of them all, The Dark Lord!
How terrifying!
And our very exciting news is that we reached out to Brandon Sanderson to see if he would be willing to come up with a playable Awful Fantasy: The Card Game author based on himself, and he said he would be honored to!

Create empires and destroy them, all while getting a great tan when you play as this awful author! Special thanks to the great Brandon Sanderson for helping us out!
We will have much more to show you in the coming weeks as we get more art pouring in. Plus, more developments as they... well... develop.

We will send an email with a special link to BackerKit surveys soon.
You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey, just click on the survey link, fill it out, and you’re all good to go. Surveys will allow you to provide your shipping information, specify your name for the 'Thank You' section in the rulebook, and pledge for more “add-ons” if you'd like. You do not have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email.
If you decide later that you want to edit your survey response, you can go back to your survey and change it any time before we lock down the surveys for processing. We'll let you know as that date approaches.

Wow! This campaign sure was fun and we are incredibly grateful to you for backing our small, strange card game. We had absolutely no idea that we would get this many people interested in Awful Fantasy: The Card Game. We are all very humbled.
Now, we move on to the real work and poor, poor Conor has to get around 60 unique illustrations done in the coming months. And while he does that, the rest of us will be doing lots of fine-tuning all around and preparing for manufacturing and fulfillment. As we said before, Awful Fantasy: The Card Game was intended to be a very simple and easy-to-fulfill project since it is our first and we will make sure every game is beautiful, fun to play, and delivered promptly.
Thanks again for your support, we will be updating you as new information develops. And there might be a few surprises along the way.
